Empowerment in Action is a collaboration between BrightPsych, Rework, and Lion Bites —
a local pet treats brand that prides itself on crafting premium dehydrated seafood treats,
sustainably sourced from Malaysian waters in support of local fishermen.

This initiative was created to provide a meaningful
platform for special needs individuals to engage in pre-vocational training. From carefully packing to responsibly delivering stocks, every step of the process was more than just a task — it was an opportunity to break barriers, foster inclusion, and nurture confidence.

Through this collaboration, we wanted to show that work is not only about productivity — it is also about dignity, belonging, and growth. By opening doors and providing hands-on experiences, Empowerment in Action stands as a continuous effort to shape a more inclusive community where every individual’s contribution is valued and celebrated.
