Trainee Clinical Psychologist
Ibthihal is a trainee clinical psychologist who works with children, young and older adults navigating emotional, relational, and mental health challenges. She takes a client-centred approach to therapy, valuing collaboration and tailoring her methods to fit each individual’s journey. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and humanistic-based practices, she integrates evidence-based techniques with flexibility and care. Her areas of special interest include eating and body image disorders, mood-related difficulties, dissociative disorders, couples therapy, and feminist psychology. She is committed to creating a compassionate and non-judgmental space where healing and growth can take place at each person’s pace.
Outside her professional role, Ibthihal values creativity, reflection, and connection. She enjoys reading, socialising with close friends, and exploring fashion as a form of self-expression, seeing these as meaningful ways to stay competent and bring authenticity into her work with clients.
